A little about the team

Guy Johnson President

Guy started the company in 1987 while teaching at British Columbia Institute of Technology. Guy likes to ski, bicycle tour, golf, make wine and run a mapping company.

Mike Swanson Application Specialist

Michael has been with the company since 1989. He enjoys mountain biking, river rafting & vacationing in warmer climates.

Garry Brassard Senior Map Artist

Garry has been with the company since the start in 1989 and currently works from his home in Victoria.

Clint Johnson Business Product Development Manager

Clint started working for GM Johnson when he was six years old. His first job was placing UPC stickers onto Map Books. Since then Clint has worked on and off with GM Johnson as he went through school and adventures outside the map world. He enjoys travelling, skiing, hiking, and cooking.

Tony Friscioni Accounting / Customer Service

Born in Aquila, Italy he enjoys traveling throughout North America and Europe. He likes to spend time with family, golf, listen to music, drink wine, and tend his garden. (Not necessarily in that order)

Sheryll Catbagan Lead Map Artist

Sheryll has been with the company since 1999 and is the lead map artist in the office. She loves camping, hiking, cooking and baking.

Irina Vassilenko Senior Map Artist

Irina has been with the company since 1999 and currently works out of her home.

Judy Valdez Senior Map Artist

Judy has been with the company since 1999 and only work part time.

George Ketchum Account Coordinator & Map Analyst

George has been with the company since 2022. He considers himself a big geography/map geek. George loves hiking, camping, and pizza!.
